2010 Lacoste Borie
Tasted at Chateau Grand Puy Lacoste. The Lacoste Borie has a fragrant bouquet of light redcurrant
and wild strawberry fruit, interlaced with graphite and wild hedgerow. It is muted at first, but it unfurls
nicely with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, perhaps missing a little weight in
the middle, but nicely balanced on the "classic” finish that has "gentleman's club luncheon claret”
written all over it. And there is nowt wrong with that. Tasted November 2012.
